Indian tent draping and Marquee Draping

In response to rising demand for stunning Indian marquee linings, in 2010 we have launched new section of Indian linings to provide the same high quality, designs and handcrafted features as our tents are.
Probably we are the only and first Indian lining manufactures that are offering marquee linings made of Trevira CS (Katty 200gsm), inherently fire retardant complies to BS 7837:1996, BS 5867 part 2 type B, CPAI 84:1995 Sec 6, NFPA 701. Katty 200gsm shall not lose fire retardant properties as a result of use, washing or ageing.
Katty 200gsm is 100% polyester with strong feelings of cotton and can be hand-blocked in distinctive hand-block prints using traditional methods by skilled and experienced artisans in a range of designs and colors or made to your specific needs.
Alternatively we also offer liners made of 100% traditional cotton. These linings are inherently fire retardant to BS 7837:1996 and BS 5867 part 2 type B and can be hand block printed by our skilled and experienced staff in a range of designs and colors or made to your specific needs.
They are Velcro together in modules matching the frame system giving maximum flexibility of use. Available in several styles and a range of colours Linings can be used without eave valances, but the use of coloured/hand printed valances can change the whole appearance of the marquee with minimal outlay and simple Velcro fitting.

Tent Hire

It is quite difficult to describe the term tent hire. It is basically where a client pays a service provider for the use of a tent or marquee for a specific time. The service provider can send out a team to pitch the tent for the client or if it is a camping tent rental, the client will pitch the tent by themselves.

First we have to look at the various types of tents and the history of tents and tent hire. Various tents will suffice for different needs.

The following questions must be asked before you decide which marquee or tent you want to rent:

• How many people must the rented tent accommodate for?
• On which service will the tent stand? Will it be grass, paving, concrete, etc
• The weather conditions in which the rented tent will stand.
• The type of function the rented tent will be used for
• How long will the tent be rented for. Certain tents can only be hired for 2 or three days. Longer periods will lead to damage to the tents
• The season will also play a role. Some hired tents can only stand a certain amount of rain or wind.

Hiring the correct tent for a function can make or break the function. Our recommendation for a function in the rainy season, is to go for a peg and pole marquee tent if the ground service will allow for pegs. This type of tent can stand for many months in severe rain and wind. This makes it the perfect tent hire options for expos and functions of more than a few days. If the service is paving or tar, then the correct tent hire option will be a frame or clear span tent. This option is more costly and takes longer to set up. Frame tents can also take severe weather conditions and can also stand for a long time.

Marquee tents for rent normally comes in sizes from 5 x 5 m, 5 x 10m, 10x 10m, 15 x 15m. The 15 m wide rental tents can be extended in 9 m sections up to a 15m x 60m marquee. the next step up is to hire a 25m wide tent. These marquees are normally more expensive per square meter, because you need a complicated pulley system to lift the heavy canvas tops.

You will have two options when you hire a frame or clear span tent. The frames normally comes in aluminium or steel. The aluminium frame tents for hire are normally more expensive than the steel frame tents.

Freeform, Moroccan or Bedouin tent hire is more suitable for short term functions where you need shade and a pleasant atmosphere. These tents are easy to set up and can fit in almost any open space with a bit of creativity.

Renting a camping tent is sometime tricky. Things to consider for tent hire in the camping tent segment includes factors like the weight of the tent, weather conditions and how much place the tent will take up.

In other countries, you will also have options to hire tipi tents and bell tent hire. Both these types of tents are made of canvas and can take severe weather conditions
